Skipper Jim is a catamaran built specifically for the purpose of group fishing in inshore waters, making her perfect for great snapper fishing in the Bay Of Islands.

Skipper Andrew McKinnon has spent half a century at sea participating in all types of fishing all over New Zealand and beyond. His knowledge of the ocean, fish and all other aspects is extensive. So if he can't find fish, no-one can..

Spacious and well appointed cockpit and deck provides plenty of room. GPS and fish finder. Stability of a catamaran is also great for children and older people. Comfortable couches inside also provide comfort should anyone need a rest from the fishing action.

Skipper Jim works to all MAF size and catch limits, and although snapper limit is 27cm, we like to release anything under 32cm. All fish belongs to anglers as it is recreational fishing.
